Diploma in Public Management and Governance

Public Management and Governance is a diploma course that focuses on the development of skills and knowledge related to the management and administration of public sector organizations. Students will learn about the principles and practices of good governance, as well as the challenges and opportunities of working in the public sector.   • Governance: Students will learn about the principles of good governance and the role of leaders in shaping policy and guiding organizations.
  • Public administration: Students will learn about the management of public sector organizations, including how to plan and implement programs and policies, manage budgets and resources, and work with stakeholders.
  • Public finance: Students will learn about the financial management of the public sector, including issues related to taxation, budgeting, and public debt.
  • Public sector ethics: Students will learn about the ethical principles that guide the behavior of public sector officials and the role of ethics in shaping public policy.
  • International relations: Students will learn about the role of governments and international organizations in shaping global policy and addressing global challenges.


There are no specific prerequisites for this course. However, a basic understanding of computer systems and networks would be beneficial.


This is a 24-week course consisting of 16 hours of online instruction and exercises.
